Q.: What is the difference between your “Liquid
Gold Emu Oil”, “Wrinkle Reducing Serum”, “Pure Emu oil”, and “Intense
Wrinkle Moisturizer”? A: Our Wrinkle Reducing Serum is a proprietary blend
of amino lipid complexes. The
pure Emu oil is “whole” refined Emu oil.
The Liquid Gold Emu oil is sometimes referred to as “clear”,
“triple refined”, or “winterized” Emu oil. It has gone through another process to remove some of the
heavier fatty acids without compromising the beneficial components of the
oil, to help it remain more liquid at cooler temperatures. It may also penetrate the skin
faster. Our Intense Wrinkle
Moisturizer is an Emu oil based Lotion with several other ingredients to
help tone and moisturize the skin. Q: Does your Emu oil need to be refrigerated? A: Absolutely
not! If a company is telling you
their Emu oil needs to be refrigerated, that means the oil has not been
properly refined and still contains bacteria and other contaminants. All our Emu oil is Fully Refined and
Molecularly Distilled. It has a
shelf life of 3 – 4 years without any refrigeration. If you want to extend the shelf life
of our Emu oil beyond the 3 – 4 years, you can refrigerate or
freeze the oil. Q: Does
AEA Certified Emu oil ensure safety and/or improve the oil? A: There has
been no valid scientific research performed indicating that AEA Certified
Emu oil is safe or improved.
Since scientific research has not been able to identify the active
ingredient in Emu oil that gives Emu oil its research proven
capabilities, care must be taken when purchasing oil that claims to be
“certified”. Longview Farms was
informed years ago by Dr. Leigh Hopkins that simply “refining” Emu oil
left behind contaminants such as heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides,
arsenic and other contaminants.
The AEA Certified Emu oil program does not require that such
contaminants be removed from the oil.
Having the knowledge that simply refined Emu oil still contains
contaminants, Longview Farms turned to modern technology to help ensure
consumers are receiving the purest, safest and most effective Emu oil
available. That is why all
our Emu oil is refined, sterilized, deodorized, Molecularly Distilled and AOCS laboratory tested. We turned to the experts to help us
ensure safety and purity….something not yet understood by the AEA
Certified Emu oil program. The
term “certified” is deemed to be unnecessary and considered to be a
marketing ploy. Q: What
is the difference between “Clear” Emu oil, “Triple Refined” Emu oil, and
your “Liquid
Gold Emu Oil”? A: They are
all the same, just different terms used in marketing by various companies. This variety of Emu oil has gone
through an additional processing step to remove some of the heavier fatty
acids to help it remain more liquid at cooler temperatures. We believe our Liquid Gold Emu Oil may
penetrate the skin faster because some of the heavier fatty acids have
been removing. Removing those
heavier fatty acids does not reduce the effectiveness of the Emu oil nor
does it remove any of the beneficial components. Q: What
is Ultra Emu Oil*? A: The best we
can say is, “we’re not sure”. We
believe it to be a marketing ploy of one our competitors. Their explanation of it is that it
does something more than “unprocessed emu oil”. We have found no proof of this statement, but we guess they
are saying that their emu oil does more than raw, unprocessed,
un-sterilized, crude emu oil. Of
course we all know consumers should not use emu oil that has not been fully
refined and Molecularly Distilled.
We are not aware that this so-called ‘Ultra Emu Oil’ has been
Molecularly Distilled to ensure safety and purity. Likewise, they are saying it is
“enhanced”; to us that means it is not “pure emu oil”, but rather has
been diluted with some other substance….maybe soy oil? We are not sure and therefore cannot
answer consumer questions regarding their statements. Let the buyer beware. Q: How
do you get the Emu oil? A: Emu oil is
a food by-product. You can read
all about the origins of Emu oil at www.Emu-Oil.com. Q: How
long after I place my order will I receive it? A: Most orders
are shipped within 24 hours of receipt, and are shipped via Priority
Mail. You should receive your
order within 3 – 5 business days after shipment. Q: Which
Pain Relief product should I purchase? A: We offer
several Pain Relief Products for a reason – everyone’s body is different
and you may find relief from one product and not another. All our pain relief products contain
Emu oil to help reduce inflammation naturally. Each product also contains other ingredients we believe may
help in the temporary relief of pain associated with arthritis, joint
pain, back pain and more. Our Blue
Pain Relief contains Emu oil, MSM, Menthol and Witch
Hazel. You can read all about
this product at www.BluePainRelief.com. Our Muscle
Relief Roll-On contains Emu oil and Capsaicin – a natural
ingredient from the pepper plant.
Our Comfort-ability
Rub contains Emu oil, Eucalyptus, Glucosamine and MSM. Q: What
makes Molecularly Distilled Emu oil different than AEA Certified Emu oil? A: Molecular
Distillation removes unwanted toxins such as heavy metals, herbicides, pesticides,
arsenic and other cancer-causing substances that may not be removed by
traditional refining such as that of many AEA Certified Emu oil
companies. The AEA recommended
guidelines are a requirement of the AEA’s Certified Seal program for a
paid fee and other special considerations. This AEA Certified Emu oil program is patently
discriminatory in nature and in functionality. Therefore, the AEA’s program and guidelines are NOT
recognizable or approved by any State Government Agency, any U.S. Federal
Government Agency, any known foreign Government Agency, or the World
Trade Organization. Molecular
Distillation is a process recognized by many Government Agencies and
companies throughout the world. Q: My
skin is very dry with dry patches everywhere. What products do you recommend? A: Emu oil is
a tissue nutrient, which feeds the skin helping it to become
healthy. We recommend using any
of our quality moisturizing creams and lotions on the skin throughout the
day, and our Pure Emu oil in the evening before going to bed. This allows the Pure Emu oil to
nourish the skin for hours while you sleep. Our customer have told us this method of application has
helped them with dry skin, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema and other skin conditions. We have formulated specific creams and
lotions for specific needs, such as our Psoriasis Aid Cream, 4 oz. Facial
Cream (for extra dry skin) and Hand & Body Lotions for all over
moisturization. Q: I
have red patches all over my face.
The dermatologist has given me several medications, but nothing
has worked. Will Emu oil help? A: Red patches
may be a sign of Rosacea. We have
had many customers tell us
Pure Emu oil and the use of our Emu
oil soaps have cleared up these red patches. Taking our Inner Relief Emu oil gel
caps also help feed the skin “from the inside out” for a healthy glow. Privacy Policy We would like to make it very clear: We do not disclose
